History: Madison Taxi was started in 1986 with a simple philosophy: The people of a fine city like Madison deserved nice, clean, newer taxis and safe, professional drivers. Customers are special and needed to be appreciated as such. With that –and a beginning fleet of just four pristine vehicles– co-founder and company president Joe Brekke began his diligent quest to provide this city with precisely that plan.

Today –with an ever growing fleet of vehicles and a staff– the philosophy remains the same: Ongoing respect and appreciation for our customers and a passion for getting them to their destinations comfortably and on time via nice, clean, newer-model vehicles and a solid team of safe and professional drivers. With today’s considerably larger and more efficient fleet of modern vehicles still washed and vacuumed daily and our ever growing staff of safe and knowledgeable professional drivers, let us show you why Madison Taxi has grown every year for the past 25 years.
